Appointed General Manager Australia, Frasers Hospitality

For Immediate Release: Frasers Hospitality Pte Ltd, are pleased to announce the promotion of Matthew Rubie to the position of General Manager, Australia with effect from 1 July 2012.  

During the past 8 years Matthew has worked with The Toga Group, most recently as Area Hotel Manager for the ACT, Hotel Manager for Medina Grand Sydney and Regional Sales Manager. Prior to this, Matthew worked with the InterContinental Hotels Group in the UK and Australia in various roles.

Notable milestones for Frasers Hospitality in Australia this year include the total refurbishment of Fraser Place Melbourne, and the opening of Fraser Suites Perth (scheduled for late 2012). 

Frasers Hospitality also plans further expansion in Australia over the next few years, with the demand for quality Gold Standard apartment hotels growing rapidly in the Asia Pacific region.
